About the Mobile Food Pantry
In partnership with Feeding America, and the The Family Network of Wyoming, The Voyage Church is reaching out to those in the greater Wyoming and Grandville area who are struggling during this difficult time. The smallest acts of kindness help people feel better and show the love of Christ. He was all about feeding others (see Bible story to right >) Our last mobile food pantry is Sept 22, 4:30-7:30pm - holding five over the last five months! We are in a time of prayer as to how we can serve more as we enter into the last of the year, and for 2012. Please stay tuned for a NEW season of God's ministry very soon! More Food Pantries

Matthew 15:32-37 "Jesus called his disciples to him and said, 'I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.' His disciples answered, 'Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?' 'How many loaves do you have?' Jesus asked. 'Seven,' they replied, 'and a few small fish.' He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children."(see also Matthew 14:13-21 where Jesus feed 5,000 men, besides women and children) |
